About Ellen Cohan
---Ellen has been published internationally and has won numerous awards for her photography. Her work has appeared in books, magazines, calendars, brochures, and on corporate walls throughout the country. When not engaged in one on one photo sessions, Ellen can be found photographing political activities on Capitol Hill, artistic performances at the Kennedy Center, runway fashion shows, and world-class horse competitions and events.
---Ellen became professionally involved in photography years after earning her MBA and specializing in marketing. Looking for a career change, she followed her passion for photography and returned to school earning a certificate in Photography. Specializing in business and personal portrait photography, Ellen believes that the combination of her business background coupled with her education in the visual arts allows her the expertise to create, see and capture the right moments specifically tailored to meet each clients exact desires and goals.
---Helping make the world a better place is very important to Ellen. Throughout her life she has worked with underprivileged youth, and, individuals with developmental disabilities. Currently, she is an active participant in Women Business Owners of Montgomery County, the Professional Photographers Society of Greater Washington, Days End Farm Horse Rescue, Brookside Gardens, the American Marketing Association, Artists with Attitude, Pioneer Valley Therapeutic Riding Association, the Pet Friendly Business Network, and Masterminds.
