. Rainbow Bridge
Nate's Legacy Nate's Legacy, aka Jack, had a rough start in life. He lost his mother to an acute uterine rupture a day after his birth. He spent the next 4 days at Tufts being monitored and taught how to eat milk replacer out of a bucket. We found a farm a farm in VA that raises orphan foals. Tufts gave us the ok to trailer Jack to them directly from the clinic. He stepped off the trailer in VA bright eyed and bushy tailed- full of bounce. Unfortunately, approx. 12 days later he would have to be put down due to sepsis (severe life threatening infection) coupled with extreme diarrhea. He was a beautiful boy that seemed to adore people. Even though he wasn't in the world very long, he touched many people along the way. May he gallop across the Rainbow Bridge and join his dam in eternal happiness. |
